As the snow gently flutters to the ground I'm making our traditional New Years Day Black Bean Soup. It became a tradition years ago when I was trying to figure out what to do with the left over holiday ham. We have enjoyed sharing this tradition with friends and family throughout the years. Once the soup is cooked the much anticipated bowl of soup is savored and leftovers are enjoyed by all. We hope you'll try it and find a new tradition for you family as well.
